Members of the Vermont bar should have received a memo today (dated June 2, 2025) from State Court Administrator Teri Corsones. (Link below). The memo is “Re: Promulgated and Proposed Rules, Vermont Judiciary Migrating Virtual Hearing Capabilities, Attorney License Renewal Period, Supreme Court Administrative Directives, eFile and Serve and Public Portal Information, Filing of Exhibits & Other Miscellaneous Info.”
The announcement likely to be of widest interest across the bar is that the Court will be transitioning from Webex to Zoom for remote hearings during 2025. The move is to begin in Sept. 2025 and Vermont attorneys should be on the lookout for timelines and additional communication from the Judiciary regarding migration of individual counties and training sessions.
If you missed the memo in your email, you can read it here.
