The Entrepreneurial Legal Lab and Environmental Justice Clinics of Vermont Law and Graduate School are offering a series of three FEMA Flood Assistance Legal Clinics for Vermonters affected by the July flooding. The first clinic will be held tomorrow (Sept. 6) from 11 AM to 3 PM in room 109 of Oakes Hall at the VLGS Campus, 164 Chelsea St., South Royalton.
The next clinic will be held Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 AM – 2 PM at Fletcher Memorial Library, 88 Main St., Ludlow.
The third clinic will take place in Barre on Monday, Sept. 11 from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Aldrich Public Library, 6 Washington St., Barre.
Volunteers will be available to provide information, answer questions, help fill out FEMA and/or SBA applications, and to help with other paperwork (such as communications with a landlord or insurance claims). NOTE: These events will provide legal information, not advice.
For more information about the clinics, contact Prof. Nicole A. Killoran at NAKILLORAN@vermontlaw.edu.
