Vermont Law and Graduate School has teamed up with Legal Services Vermont and Vermont Legal Aid to offer a series of legal clinics in the days ahead aimed at addressing legal issues caused by the recent flooding.
The first clinic will be Thursday, Aug. 15 from 2 to 6 PM at the NEK Chamber of Commerce at 91 College Road in Lydon Center.
On Friday, Aug. 6, another clinic will be held from 2 to 6 PM at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, 1171 Main St., St. Johnsbury.
The third and final clinic in the series will take place from 2 to 5:45 PM on Monday, Aug. 19 at the Aldrich Public Library at 6 Washington St. in Barre.
Volunteer attorneys will be on hand each clinic to provide limited legal advice and answer questions about the 2023 and 2024 floods and available resources. For complete details, see the flyer, here.
