The Women’s Division of the VBA has teamed up with the Women’s Law Society and Alumni Relations and Development at Vermont Law and Graduate School to present, “Voices from the Bench: Women’s Judicial Panel” in Burlington on Oct. 17. The gathering will be held at the VLGS space at 126 College St., Suite 410, in Burlington from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The catering will be by Café Mamajuana of Colchester (so there will be food!) thanks to donations from the organizers and many generous law firm sponsors, listed below.
The evening will feature a discussion with four of Vermont’s leading women jurists: Associate Supreme Court Justice Nancy Waples and Superior Court judges Elizabeth Novotny, Kristin Schoonover, and Navah Spero. The judges will share their personal and professional journeys to the bench. There will also be time for attendees to mix and mingle with one another and the judges.
