The Office of Professional Regulation has announced that proposed permanent administrative rules for notaries public have now been filed with the Secretary of State. You are welcome and encouraged to read the proposed rules here and to submit any written comment to sos.opr.comments@vermont.gov.
There are also two public hearings planned for these rules on Oct. 22 and 24. They will be hybrid meetings with options for virtual and in-person attendance; more details are available in the SOS’s Proposed Rules Postings.
