The VBA is again holding the popular MLK poster-essay contest for Vermont middle schoolers (grades 6-8). This year, the Dr. King quotation that students should consider in their essays and illustrate in their posters is, “LIFE’S MOST PERSISTENT AND URGENT QUESTION IS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?” The deadline is Dec. 21. The contest is sponsored by the Diversity Section and the Young Lawyer’s Division.
The contest has been announced to Vermont middle school principals, but members should feel free to share the information with their local middle schools. Details on the contest and the entry form are available in the flyer which went out to schools and which can be viewed here.
